Christmas Stocking Make-up Haul
When I was younger, my parents would get me presents, but then my mom would fill my Christmas stocking with make-up, candy and neat little things. It was so stuffed she wouldn't even hang it or it would fall; she just placed it on a shelf.
I went to a Rite Aid that was closing and they were having a 50 percent off sale on the entire store! The shelves was pretty cleared out but there was a lot of make-up. My mom was so sweet to buy me these items as stocking stuffers even though I am in my 30's! She's so cute.
Here's a list of what I chose for my grown-up "stocking"!
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Red Zin
Essie Nail Lacquer in Miami Nice
Cover Girl Lip Perfection in Delish
Cover Girl Lip Perfection in Heavenly
Revlon Color Burst in Cherry Ice
Revlon Lipgloss in Fuschia
Revlon Lip Color Riche LeGloss in Clear
Physician's Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Powder
Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Pink

Fall Target Shopping List
Fall is in full swing! I headed over to Target to pick up some items that I needed to jump start my fall looks.
Funky earrings:
I wear more earrings during the fall and winter. Maybe it's because if I am wearing heavy outerwear, they add some visual interest around my face! These earrings had a unique sculptural look. And they are lightweight which is important. I try to avoid heavy earrings.
Neutral nail polish:
I have lots of summer colors, so I needed some muted fall nail polish to round out my collection. Here are two Essie polishes I chose. Lady Like and Cocktail Bling. Did I buy it for the color or because it had the word "bling" in it? Did you know Lil Wayne coined that word? I digress.

So I had to start with Cocktail Bling for this week's manicure.
It's a gray with blue undertones.
Very sophisticated neutral.

Eyeshadow brushes:
I also wear more eye make-up during colder months as you can see from my NAKED series! So I needed
a blending brush and some contour brushes. I thought I'd try these from ELF. The last one
(Angled Contour Brush) has a flat top and just a slight angle, perfect for blending.
What's on your fall fashion and beauty must haves list?

Delicious Essie Shades
I'm excited about these Essie shades I picked up. Aren't they delicious? Like little Easter eggs.
First is Mademoiselle. A best seller. Light pinky color.
Then the green is called Mint Candy Apple.
This is from Winter 2009 line but looks more like a spring color to me!

The last is a color form the Spring 2011 St. Tropez collection called Nice is Nice. A gorgeous lavender.
