Forever 21 Made Me Buy Leopard

I am not a fan of Forever 21's return policy and I never had to use it. But today, I finally returned something and got the F21 credit merchandise card. Is it just me or when you have money to shop, that is the time you can't find anything? So I picked up this scarf since I  do love leopard. It was the only one in the store but I see they're available online.

This scarf reminds me of the Tolani scarf celebs like Vanessa Hudgens wear...

My two favorites...leopard print and hot coffee

The Forever 21 version is lightweight but feels substantial, if that makes any sense! A cute alternative to the pricier Tolani scarf.

Some Scarf Love

I love scarves, no secret there. A fellow blogger recommended this lovely scarf from Windsor.
It was sold out for a long time and I back ordered it. It was supposed to come mid-May, but it came yesterday!

I checked the Windsor site and it's sold out again! So I found a similar look from NY & Co...

French Dressing Via Scarves

Katie's not French, but she's still chic

I envy French women and their style. I started reading about how they look so effortlessly chic to get ideas. They focus on a wardrobe of investment pieces and then they embellish them with accessories. I always try to do that, but then I end up shopping for new things. I'm bad like that. But one thing I can take from the French is their love of scarves. Just like a "statement necklace", a silk scarf with a fun pattern can serve as jewelry and a focal point. I'm still learning to tie one perfectly, but for now here is my Jones New York scarf...

What tips do you steal from those fab French ladies?

A Scarf or Two

Here are a couple of scarves I bought recently.
I love how a colorful scarf can add pop to monochromatic outfits.

I Just Bought: Handbag Scarf

I went to lunch with my mom today and we stopped into Burlington Coat Factory. I spotted this cute little scarf and she bought it for me. (Thanks Mom) It has no tags so I am not sure what the name brand is or the material although I am guessing it's polyester. It was cute and a good deal, so why not right? I thought it would look very cute on purses to accessorize them and add color. Some Coach bags come with a ponytail scarf that do the same thing as shown below. Do you "accessorize" your handbags too? If so, how?
