Mixing in Leopard Leggings

Eek. I tried. Really I did, but all of my pictures came out crazy bad. So I decided to super size at least this one. Half of my head is cut off and no feet either. But my leggings are in full view!  

I wonder what someone like Tim Gunn would say about leopard leggings. If I remember correctly he hates ALL leggings. It's a good thing I don't.  I am trying out my newly thrifted denim shirt. I will only wear longer tops and sweaters with these leggings. A leopard booty is just too much information!

The key to taking them out Peggy Bundy land is to toughen them up, not sexy them up. I skipped the heels and wore these boots...

Leather Leggings

And now...FASHION!

Leatherette leggings. Ever since I saw Monroe Steele (hey girl!) rocking these with absolute perfection, I thought I'd like a pair.

The challenge: how was I going to fit myself into leggings like these? I went to H & M, and the biggest size was a 4. Yikes. So I strolled on over to F21 and found these. Yes! The leather panels are on the sides of the pants and the inner thighs. The H & M pair had them on the front and back.

Pardon the background of IKEA boxes and lamp cords, but I just had to try them on! My style is usually a little more androgynous than this, but I love leather or leatherish pants on guys, girls, puppies, anyone and anything!!

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Brrr! It's supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow which is why I'm getting cozy inside watching
some TVLand tonight. Maybe it will be a white Christmas after all! Here's a casual outfit that works both indoors and outside.

My Lucky Color

Tonight was date night! Italian food followed by bowling. I usually lose, but not tonight!
I can't believe I actually won this time (never have before).

My final score was 151. Purple just might be my lucky color.

Cabin Fever

This is what I'd wear to my cabin in the woods (if I had one). The plaid shirt and jeans say masculine, but the heels and fur vest say feminine. Maybe not the best outfit for chopping fire wood, but my imaginary cabin has an electric fireplace anyway. Less work! Those are my non-prescription, anti-glare glasses I wear sometimes while using my computer. Not necessary, but they went with the look!
