This is the link for the shorts. They are so comfy and I like the fit. The colors are white, olive and chino and they come with cute belts. The chino (my choice) came with the little orange belt!

Charlotte Russe Etc Haul

A sudden heat wave is a great excuse to go to the mall. For the air conditioning of course. :)

First, I bought this leopard shirt at Charlotte Russe. Only $6.99.
I also bought a funky, asymmetrical black shirt for $9.99 that I will feature in my next outfit post!

Then I bought these fun little gloves at Claire's.

This necklace is from Payless.
I am a little late on the Carrie Bradshaw horseshoe necklace trend, but I still like it!

Going Polka Dots

I am crazy about these shoes! So cute. And would you believe they're from Payless? I will be working them into an outfit soon. Just brainstorming on how to wear them for now.
Check them out here. Quantities are pretty limited, but they have some sizes left.

For the Love of Leopard

I think I first started liking leopard print during college. I had a Russian roommate who was amazingly stylish and wore leopard. I quickly learned that Russians and Latinas have a lot in common! We're usually outspoken, aren't afraid of color and are basically "fierce" or as Tyra would say "Fee-ahhce" while shaking her finger. She had loads of designer clothes that I adored. And we would share clothes. She loved my thrifted Levi corduroys and I got to wear her custom-made leather flared pants. Not a bad swap.

Some Like it Hot

My cousin lives in Texas and told me yesterday it reached 95 degrees! And here we are on the east coast trying to stay above 50. Well, it's hot somewhere so I wanted to put an outfit together that I would wear the minute (or second) that we finally start getting some spring weather.

I bought that ruffle tank today at Marshall's with a gift card from Mypoints. It takes a while to build up points, but with a big purchase, you're set! My trip to Mexico was booked through Mypoints earning me a lot of points. I have been a member for several years and have earned many gift cards even with my smaller purchases, so I highly recommend online shopping via that site and it's free to join!

A Scarf or Two

Here are a couple of scarves I bought recently.
I love how a colorful scarf can add pop to monochromatic outfits.

Coffee and Shopping Recap

Aw man, the holidays are officially over. My husband and I took down the tree and put away most of the Christmas stuff today. But, the good part is that we have a fresh new year full of possibilities, good health and of course, fashion!

I have some cute things to show you but first here's my little snack of coffee and a Nonni biscotti. I have been drinking a lot of coffee lately :) Maybe it was all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, but I've been tired and coffee helps.

And I love what the mug says..."There's nothing better than a good friend except a good friend with chocolate". Truer words have never been said!  I bought this set at Marshall's and the company name is Born to Shop (fitting!)

Now, here are my latest fashion finds...

I have been jonesing for a denim shirt for a long time. I like the lighter denim since I usually wear dark jeans. This shirt is the boyfriend shirt by Future Favorites.

Jessica Simpson was wearing some killer gray boots when she performed at the Thanksgiving parade. They were Gucci platforms. Her designer shoes and bags are always amazing and on my radar! It's fitting that she has her own shoe line which is also pretty nice. These have a similar look to her Gucci's for less. Suede over the knee boots by DV by Dolce Vita.

I went to Payless to get some suede protector spray for the boots and I saw this cute little foot product set! All natural too. Payless now sells beauty products and this is by zoe & zac naturals. On clearance too, so a good way to try them out!
