Cartier Panthere ring, I'm getting warmer

Another day, another panther ring! I have been clawing away, trying to find the perfect panther ring to tame my Cartier cravings. A few weeks ago I showed you the Kohl's version that came close to what I wanted.
Of course, this is what I really wanted...

Cartier 'Panthere De Cartier' Ring
Just look at that bad boy!
price: approx. $14,000

Um yeah, that's not going to happen, so... I found this little cutie above at Macy's. It's by the Material Girl line created by Madonna. I bought mine in the gold tone (not the silver shown). It is sold out online. But if you like it, be sure to check out the Material Girl line at your local Macy's.

Genius Silver Safekeeper

I should really devote a separate blog to "problem solvers" since I am always on the lookout for items that will make my life easier or more organized! (ie Kangaroo Keeper, Butterfly Scarf Holder)

Here's my latest find.

Back in "the day", we're talking early 90's, I only wore yellow gold.  Since then, to say I have expanded my jewelry preferences is an understatement. White gold, silver, rose gold, platinum (okay platinum plated) have all seen the inside of my jewelry box.

But. silver always used to frustrate me. Some of the silver I owned tarnished heavily, while some didn't tarnish at all! So I found these Silver Safekeepers on QVC and they work! You put clean silver jewelry in them and they do not tarnish. I am not sure how it works, magic I think, but it does. So if you were like me and shied away from silver in the past check these babies out.

Yummy Caramel Messenger Bag

This bag really reminds me of the Mulberry Alexa.
Finding things that are inspired by high end designs for less is always fun!
Here's my new "baby". It's kind of like a medium brown, but doesn't "caramel" sound yummier?

I have been wanting a bag like this for a while and I found it at DSW. There were some like this at Target, but I didn't like them and they felt kind of rubbery.

This one was 69.95 and normally I would not pay that much for a bag that is not leather, but I had to have this. It is well made and doesn't appear synthetic. I found this at the DSW store. Online the black and olive green versions are still available.

A very similar option from Aldo. They carry both an ivory and tan version.

A Fashion Risk

I was so torn over this dress, I loved it, I loved it not. I tried it on, put it back on the rack, then grabbed it again. But as you can see, it made it out of the store! The vertical lines had a slimming effect that I liked.
I think I have to switch to wedges or shorten it because my feet disappeared! But it's still not as long as some maxi dresses I've seen. I am wearing my Hermes-esque bracelet with it and some gold hoop earrings. It made me feel like I was about to jet off somewhere and fashion is all about fantasy isn't it? :)

Fashion is also about taking risks and I am glad I bought it since this dress will definitely not blend into the background. So, do you ever question your fashion choices? And what risks have you taken that have paid off?
I was close to ordering this one, but I am short and wasn't sure how long it would be. But it's really cute too.

Sweet and Wild

I love to mix sweet floral prints with tougher accessories like these open toe booties!

Jacket: Worthington
Skirt: Forever 21
T- shirt: Old Navy
Black Teardrop Earrings: Target
Boots: Rampage via Marshall's

Hermes Look at Target

I am so excited about this leather bracelet! I was drawn to it since it resembles the Hermes bracelet that Victoria Beckham wears! Except mine is blue and available at Target stores! I don't think a black is available (although I'd love one), so I plan on styling this with blues and whites for a nautical look.

Mrs. Beckham looking fabulous as usual and
wearing the black Hermes version.

Kangaroo Keeper...Yay or Nay?

I just wrote a review for the Kangaroo Keeper for Amazon. As I mentioned in my Butler Bag post, I love an organized handbag. I yanked my Butler Bag organizer out of an old bag and was using it for my LV Speedy. But I also succumbed one day in the drugstore and bought a Kangaroo Keeper to see if it lived up to the hype. It fit well in my Juicy Daydreamer tote. Here are the results.

The product had a stronger odor to it at first from the vinyl. But after a while, the odor, dissipated. I preferred the tan over the black because it allowed me to see my items easier. And the large size is much more useful than the small. It just fit into more of my handbags easier! All in all, I'm not mad at the Kangaroo Keeper. I'd buy it again.

Bad Picture, Good Sweater

It's sometimes not easy to be your own photographer. Yes my head is cut off, the tag is still on, but after taking so many pictures, this was the best one to show my new sweater! (imagine the others)

I drove all over the universe for this thing too. Note to self, if a salesperson says another store has it in your size, don't always believe it's there! The sweater is from Forever 21. I had a merchandise credit and I finally used it. I layered a nude Banana Republic tank underneath. I love anything crocheted or knitted. Makes it feel homemade. My sister once crocheted a throw for me and it is still my favorite Christmas present ever. Just to know that she put time into making it for me made it very special :)

Key necklace is from Kohl's and I am also wearing Elizabeth Arden High Shine lipgloss in Maple and Essie Nail polish in Mint Candy Apple.

I couldn't find it online, but there are other crochet versions available such as this one...

There are also a few similar styles online at Forever 21 and at their stores.

Butterfly Crystals at Walmart

 That's my sis

And this is the necklace she wore yesterday that I bought too!

I went ahead and copied my sister. I bought the necklace she was wearing from Walmart! It's so darn cute. It is sold out online (why is everything I like always sold out online?) but I went ahead and called my local Walmart. There was ONE left so I had the salesman hold it for me and picked it up.
Click here to see it and check availability at your local Walmart.

Burberry at Marshalls? Say word

Say word. (That's what my cousin tells me when he agrees with me)  With an emphasis on the "word" part.
What can I say, he's like LL raised out in Queens (I was raised out in Brooklyn).  I am partial to "oh snap" myself. I said that once when I saw a lizard in Mexico. I was like "Oh snap!" And my tour guide tells me, "That's not a snake". He mistook my "snap" for "snake". My husband and I were dying from laughter.

So anyhoo, I found a great little Burberry case at Marshall's recently! There are many great brand names found at Marshall's, but even I was surprised to find Burberry! At first glance I thought, "Ok, who's trying to copy the iconic Burberry plaid pattern...Steve Madden maybe."

I opened the case and saw that it was the real deal. Oh snap, say word.

6 Years and Counting

The world didn't end today, but it was my wedding anniversary! 6 years. We went to our favorite Japanese restaurant to celebrate! I was excited about the flaming fried ice cream for dessert.

Forever 21 Made Me Buy Leopard

I am not a fan of Forever 21's return policy and I never had to use it. But today, I finally returned something and got the F21 credit merchandise card. Is it just me or when you have money to shop, that is the time you can't find anything? So I picked up this scarf since I  do love leopard. It was the only one in the store but I see they're available online.

Forever 21 at ShopStyle

This scarf reminds me of the Tolani scarf celebs like Vanessa Hudgens wear...

My two favorites...leopard print and hot coffee

The Forever 21 version is lightweight but feels substantial, if that makes any sense! A cute alternative to the pricier Tolani scarf.

Going Polka Dots

I am crazy about these shoes! So cute. And would you believe they're from Payless? I will be working them into an outfit soon. Just brainstorming on how to wear them for now.
Check them out here. Quantities are pretty limited, but they have some sizes left.

On the Boardwalk

Here I am enjoying a respite form the rain! I'm wearing my favorite Aerosoles ballet flats, oversized Forever 21 shades, Bitten Jeans and an Elle blouse I wore once here. I love to shop, but I'm all about restyling what I own too!

Everytime I am near water and a boardwalk, this song plays in my mind!

I Love Target

I really wanted this bracelet after seeing it on the Target site but it was sold out! So I was super happy to find it at my local Target store!

Boy, I love Target! It's so fun to shop there. I also bought this Hello Kitty spiral notebook. My school days are a distant memory, but I like to buy fun notebooks I'm too old for to to keep by my office phone. Makes taking messages or scheduling appointments easier!

I also bought tiramisu (the frozen tiramisu from Target rocks my world).  Yummy! Gotta have dessert!

Relaxing Polynesian Spa Music

Ever since my day at the spa a few weeks ago I have been craving "spa music"! It really does relax me.

I have been putting this on in the background while I work on my blog or read your lovely blogs! After searching for spa music on youtube, I think these Polynesian Spa selections are the best!

Mini Nail Polish Collection

It seems like I have a lot, but I have seen some ginormous nail polish collections that would beat mine any day. I used to store them in a loaf tin from the Dollar Tree. But here's how I just organized them by color in my beloved new Sterlite drawers (half the fun is thinking of new ways to use these Sterlites)

How do you store your polishes?
