In my alt rock, 90's former life I wore a lot of brown lipstick.
Matte brown lipstick. Not a good look today (or back then).
Now I use a brighter lipstick and that's the apricot shade I am wearing here. It's flattering for girls with slightly olive skin. A lighter peach can work well for porcelain complexions also. I am using the Rimmel brand.
I've never been a lipstick gal. It's one of my goals to figure out the right color for myself and start wearing it. I've tried (with no luck) to find a good shade of red, but I always end up looking a little clown-like.
