The Look of Love
Yay! I am finally posting an outfit of the day! And it's outdoors! I have been hibernating all winter it seems. Not today though. This is the outfit I wore for Valentine's Day dinner. I was going to wear a red of pink top, but I decided to go for all black with touches of pink! That's my favorite thrifted fur jacket that I also wore on Halloween. I love wearing that furry thing.
Fur Coat: Thrifted

Fragrance on the Go
If you love perfume, these atomizers are a must-have! You have probably heard tons about the Travelo. There are many other brands on the market as well. You basically spray some of your perfume into the container, close the lid and bring this with you! It's perfect for traveling and I have already bought a few and loaded them with fragrance!

Today's Forecast: Spring Shoes
I am so much more inspired by warm weather fashion than I am by winter looks! Especially when it comes to shoes. Here's my latest addition for spring by Steve Madden!

Pink, Bows and Leopard
Pink, Bows and Leopard Print are three of my favorite things. Throw in some sequins and
you have an Erica party. Both items are from Marshall's. The shoes are Steve Madden...20 dollars!
Some people brag about paying a lot for their clothes, shoes etc..., I'm the opposite, I brag about paying a little since I am a budget shopper! The clutch is Juicy Couture on sale for $39!

Dreaming of Paris
I bought this lovely painting of the Eiffel Tower and told my husband I'd replace it with one of my own photos when I go to Paris. I say, "when" instead of "if" because I am thinking positively! ;) I can't wait to bring my Erica-ness to the Parisians :)
Some of my pretty followers have already been to Paris! Share your stories below, the sights, sounds and food! (and of course, don't forget the shopping details!)

Mirrored Tray from Target
This is a picture of the tray I purchased from Target. It is not available online, but it is in stores.
It can be used for many purposes, but I will be using it for perfumes.

Eye Make-up Tutorial for Beginners
Wow, since I joined youtube a couple of days ago, I have been making lots of youtube videos.
Just like Blogger, Twitter, any social media outlet, once you start, it's hard to stop!
So crazy how that brush twirl at 3:09 hit the right musical notes!

Graphic Tee Time
I'm not trying to get too fancy during my down time, so I really love a graphic tee. If it's music inspired, even better! Love the OmniPeace tee I'm wearing since proceeds go to a good cause. Plus, I've had that tee for a couple of years and it's definitely worth the money as far as quality goes. Looks new after a million washes!
A cute tee, leather jacket and some dark jeans has me feelin' like a rock star. One of the best places for these music tees is Walmart! Surprisingly, that's where I got the Beatles, Madonna, Marley tees. The Doors was from Kmart. And Miss Audrey was from Target.
Do you rock graphic tees?

NAKED Palette and Trench Vest
Today, I got a compliment on my eye make-up and was asked how I did the look I was rockin'! (seen below) I explained how I did it and the young woman said she still wasn't sure if she could do it. I kind of felt the urge to whip out some brushes and show her. She was already beautiful and like famous make-up artist Carmindy says, "Make-up is just the icing on the cake". But it sure is fun to apply the icing! My degree is in English/Journalism, but I have kicked around the idea of maybe becoming a freelance make-up artist.
Of course, I used my Urban Decay NAKED palette that I love so much. Naked, Half-Baked and Dark horse were my shades of choice.
NAKED 2 is out now, but I have yet to hit pan on any of my shadows, so I want to wait a while. I pretty much have a signature look. Either a bold lip or a bold eye. And the rest of the face, kind of natural like they do in France!
Also wanted to show you my new vest from Forever 21! I wanted something like this for a long time. It has a million styling options, but for now I just chucked it over jeans and a tee, added a leopard clutch. Done and done! I love that it can be worn open as well. I really love vests.
If your F21 doesn't have this vest, here's a similar option from Old Navy...

When Pinky and the Brain are not trying to take over the world, they are guarding my palette!

Updated Make-up/Perfume Storage
Last year, I showed you a few of my storage projects including my closet and my make-up. Well, as much as I love my make-up desk/vanity, I was not getting the proper use out of it. It is downstairs and the lighting is not very good there. So I tried the Sterlite drawers and got tired of that option. So here is what I came up with!
This is a collection of my most used lipsticks and glosses as well as brushes. I used some plastic organizers I bought from both ebay and Target. But it look kind of cluttered on my dresser so I placed the organizers in this basket. I don't use full make-up everyday, but I at least try to wear lipstick, mascara and some blush. My favorite blush, M.A.C.'s Her Blooming Cheek, is hiding between the two lipstick organizers. It's bright pink, but does not look harsh on. Just gives a healthy glow!
The rest of my make-up is in my train case.
This is a basket for towels (it even says the word towels on the opposite side but I turned it around)
It both houses and hides my collection and still allows me to access everything easily!
These are my perfumes still on the cake stand! If you look closely you will see the Juicy box in the back just waiting to be given away to a lucky follower! BTW, did you enter?
I really like to re purpose items for organizing. A towel basket and a cake stand was a lot more inexpensive than fancy organizers. The basket I purchased at Marshall's and the cake stand at Target. Both were a little under ten dollars.

The Gold Standard
I bought this dress by Michael Kors in case I ever need to go to the Grammys to accept my award for either Album or Artist of the Year. I'm not picky. If I'm going to dream, might as well dream big! I also bought the black version for more "casual" days.
