Not! But we can let them think it is this Christmas.
Hey what's all this guy stuff doing here? I just wanted to share some men's gift ideas and I needed an excuse to post a picture of Orlando Bloom!
A tie gets a major upgrade with a designer label, my favorite cologne on guys is Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme (college flashback), I love Gap jeans and cashmere scarves, fair isle sweaters and every guy needs a good pair of leather gloves even if he acts like he's not cold!

Five Things I Like About the Fall
I am a self-professed summer girl when it comes to fashion. It's fun to be able to wear cute outfits and not worry about finding matching socks or the right coat to wear. But the fall is nice too. Wearing a cozy fall outfit while walking outside with a warm cup of coffee. I love that!
Here are five things I enjoy wearing every fall to do just that!
1. Cozy knit sweaters. It's usually not cold enough to wear coats, so chunky knit sweaters are the next best thing for crisp autumn days.
2. Boots. I have always loved boots! So many to choose from too...suede, leather, knee-highs, I love to play with the endless possibilities.
3. Jeans. Nothing is cozier than your favorite pair of jeans.
4. Scarves. Try as I might to wear a "summer" scarf here and there, it's during the fall that that my scarf collection really makes the scene.
5. Leather jackets. When it gets a little too cool for just a sweater, I have my uniform of a leather jacket and a skinny turtleneck on hand.
What are your favorite pieces for to wear during the fall?

On the Boardwalk
Here I am enjoying a respite form the rain! I'm wearing my favorite Aerosoles ballet flats, oversized Forever 21 shades, Bitten Jeans and an Elle blouse I wore once here. I love to shop, but I'm all about restyling what I own too!
Everytime I am near water and a boardwalk, this song plays in my mind!

My Casual Uniform
Yay for petite ankle length jeans! These are Bitten
(Sarah Jessica Parker's former line for Steve and Barry's)I loved that line. I was so sad when all the Steve and Barry stores closed. That meant no more SJP Bitten line! Luckily I still have a few pieces like these jeans and that cropped black jacket I play out (refer to Fabsugar look on lower right...that's my Bitten jacket!) Why she hasn't come up with another clothing line yet is beyond me! She's so stylish, anything she puts her name on is a sure winner.
Anyway, this is a look I reach for when I want to be comfy and stay chic. It's a foolproof way to look polished and is appropriate for many casual events. It's basically my casual "uniform". A blazer, print top, straight leg, ankle length jeans and ballet flats. It's easy and makes you look put together any time!

Levi's Love Affair
I am a jeans addict. I have tried almost every brand out there...low-end to high-end.
From Lee's to Sevens to Joe's Jeans to Calvins. I have flares, skinnies, trouser jeans in all washes. You name it, I have tried to squeeze myself into 'em. Although, I will never find the "perfect" pair of jeans, I do have one brand and style that I always return to. And that I have worn for years. They're kind of like an old lover that tempts you to stay with them, even though your eye is wandering to others.
That brand is Levi's and the jeans are 515 bootcuts. Nothing fancy, but they work for me. And they are mid-rise perfection. (Low-rise jeans have never been a friend of mine). I just bought these at Kohl's, so looks like my lover is back...for now.
Here they are...

Thirsty for a Citrus Blazer
This is a thrifted blazer I bought recently for...drumroll please...2 dollars ($2.70 to be exact)
My lunch today cost more than that! I am not gonna lie, it has some serious shoulder pad action, which I considered removing, but they are growing on me...literally. I paired it with some ripped jeans and my snakeskin purse.
Blazer: Sag Harbor
Jeans 2Bebe
Tee: Old Navy
Bag: Dooney and Bourke
Boots: Kohl's
These are my jeans. The first jeans I ever ordered by mail without having to try on and they fit perfectly.

Sequins and Rips
These are my two latest purchases that I will include in some outfit of the day posts soon...
Cute sparkly bag from Carlos Santana. Fun way to do black and with my favorite embellishment...sequins!
I ordered these jeans from bebe and got them in the mail yesterday. It was wrapped in cute pink tissue paper with hearts. (Don't you love pretty packaging?) I thought I was crazy to order jeans without trying them on first, but I took a chance and they fit perfectly!

Dots All Folks
Look at that title...I'm so corny right! lol.
My hair looks a lot lighter here! Check my earlier post for this hair color for brunettes (Lighten Yourself Up). It really works!
This is another one of my "sweatsuit alternatives". A cotton hoodie, white jeans and suede loafers. It's good for running around during the day. Then for night, ou can just switch up the sweater for a blazer and the shoes for heels.

A Madonna Moment
I was definitely a Madonna fan as a kid. This purple top is from the Material Girl line at Macy's. It's juniors, but it's a simple silhouette so I think I can get away with it. Those are the jeans I featured in the Kittens and Jeans post.
Top: Material Girl from Macy's
Jeans: Angels
Pumps: Nine West
Lace Gloves: Forever 21
Since it's the weekend, I added Madonna's Holiday video! I love the simple dance moves and background. It's just classic Madonna!

Kittens and Jeans
It's all about the kitty! These are a couple of things I bought at TJMaxx. I tried to look away, but I could not resist those lights! They're really for Christmas, but I am going to hang them in my closet. And those are some skinny jeans. I like the white stitching since they remind me of True Religions, but they're not! The name brand is Angels.
I have a HK ornament lined up and ready to go, but here's another cute one...
These are skinny jeans with white stitching and added slimming panels....

Welcome to Wine Country
My husband and I recently visited a local wine vineyard...
It was sunny and beautiful out, so my husband and I went to a wine vineyard for the first time. I wore a really basic outfit complete with sneakers! At wineries I figured there's grass and soil, so I didn't want to ruin cute shoes. I also wasn't sure what to wear so I dressed for it almost the same way I would dress for a day in the park. Jeans, a tee and sneakers! But there's a way to "pretty" up that combination to make it look dressier.
I chose teal blue just in case I spilled some wine (I didn't!) and I went for a monochromatic look. Trouser jeans camouflaged my black sneakers. If you ever have to do some major walking, that's a trick I use often...wear wide leg jeans that can cover most of your not-always-glam walking shoes. I was going to wear ballet flats, but I knew I shouldn't and I'm glad I didn't.
A cotton Forever 21 fitted tee shirt with ruffle details, my Steve Madden stud purse and shades complete this jeans, tee and sneakers combo that I wore in wine country.

A night in New York City
Date night with my husband tonight and we're in for Italian food in NYC followed by singing at my favorite karaoke spot. I paired a sequined jacket with distressed jeans for contrast.
Sequined jacket: Thrifted
Jeans: NY & Co.
T Shirt: Gap
Clutch: Ann Taylor
Shoes: Nine West
I brought my harmonicas and can't forget the disco ball in my car, ready to party!
Beautiful NYC skyline
Z100 graffiti/billboard
Flower that came with my dinner. I couldn't eat it, so I wore it in my hair.
On my my way home, Goodnight NYC!
